So…

I got married today to an awesome man. Quiet, just the two of us at the Justice Building. I’ve been smiling all day.

Thrifting Haul

We went to Brown County today and got some cool stuff at a thrift shop. I got two (2!) Joanie secretary pencils, which I immediately put onto chains- one gold and one silver/red.

I also got two brooches in classic designs. The pink one was only one dollar. I also got a very badly corroded religious charm.

Then, as we were walking through an alley there a box of records with a ‘free to good home’ sign and we brought home this one with Kim Novak on the cover. Total scores all around.

Vintage Kitsch Print Apron

This saucy fabric is just too crazy to not make something of! Produced in the 1970s by Bloomcraft, the design was created by artist, William J. Bertuglia. It is certainly not for the prudish! Ha! I just had to make an apron out of it!

A Few New Things

I listed both of these this week.

the Hidden World of Girls

This radio show is SOOOOO good. It is possibly the most life-affirming thing I’ve heard recently, perhaps all year. You should listen to all of them. Really, Like, now.

Pretty Ghoul Girls

For the hour and a half I was out on Saturday night I was skull pin up and for last night I went as zombie Lucille Ball. Both costumes were really fun!

redhead

I dyed and cut my hair last night with the help of my friend Em. The glasses really set off the look. But, I don’t wear my glasses everyday because I’m stubborn. May have to wear them more often.

The color will most likely fade to a more natural shade...I hope.

Red and Amber Czech Glass

Just in time for fall:

Gnesh

I made this necklace for my friend and I just love this pic.
